Dear Teacher,

We have an exciting day of learning and adventure waiting for you and your class at Deer Acres!

First stop, the very popular Turtle Pond where some of your students may have the chance to hold one of our live turtles. As your students explore the park, they'll meet llamas, monkeys, even a live alligator! They can also recite all the nursery rhymes they have learned over their young years.

The Safari Ride is a narrated tour with educational information about the different jungle animals. It also includes a live bear and buffalo. After the Safari Ride, the children can hand feed our herd of deer and other animals. In the Magic Forest your class will enjoy a narrated Storybook Train Ride where they will see hand carved figurines of famous characters from children's literature including Hiawatha, Peter Pan, Hansel & Gretel, Tom Sawyer, and more.

Most groups bring their picnic lunch - and we'll reserve picnic tables just for you. After lunch, the children let off some steam in the playground area or enjoy our other exciting rides- Antique Cars, Ferris Wheel, Merry-Go-Round, and the Moon Walk.

We think Deer Acres is a great way for you to offer your students a fun and educational experience they will never forget. Remember- teachers and bus drivers will be admitted free. Children and chaperones will be admitted at the special school group prices. We ask that no coupons or passes be used during your visit.

There are many groups who are using the wrist bracelets at $6.00 per person to ride as much as they like for two hours, or more, depending on the amount of people in the park on your day. (This is for rides only.) If this is something you would like to do, please make sure you tell us when making your reservation. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to arrange your class trip to Deer Acres.
